Sitrin: Jazzmatazz Raises $26,000 for local arthritis programs

Proceeds from Jazzmatazz, the wine-tasting event of the year, topped last year’s total! More than $26,000 was raised to benefit local programs for individuals with arthritis and arthritis related conditions. The event, held on Friday, March 27, at Hart’s Hill Inn, Whitesboro, included world-renowned wines, gourmet food stations, gift baskets, a unique auction, and more.

Funding raised through last year’s Jazzmatazz implemented a variety of new arthritis programs for the local community, including:

  • A series of free educational forums;
  • Summer camp scholarships at Camp Sitrin;
  • Support for local fibromyalgia research; and
  • A free 8-week arthritis aquatic therapy class at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center.

Major sponsors of this year’s event included Sitrin Health Care Center, Arthritis Specialists, Advanced Physical Medicine, NBT Bank, Oxford Medical Imaging, The Harris Brothers Jewelers, Bremer’s Wine and Liquors, WKTV News Channel 2, and Regent Broadcasting.
