The Village and Town of New Hartford declared February 27, 2010 “Jim Joseph Day.” Along with being a Sitrin STARS athlete, Joseph is representing the country on the USA Wheelchair Curling Team in Vancouver, BC at the Winter Paralympic Games.
On Saturday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sitrin Community Center on Sitrin Lane, Mayor Don Ryan and Town Supervisor Patrick Tyksinski presented a Proclamation to Jim Joseph. Members of the community attended the ceremony to support Jim Joseph as he goes for the gold!
