Frankfort – When you think of summer day camp, you often imagine children fishing, making arts and crafts, and hiking. However, on Tuesday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m., it will be “a horse of a different color” as the children of Camp Sitrin will get a visit from miniature horses of Triple Creek Farms in West Winfield!
Owners MaryLou and Bob Thall will be transporting the horses to Camp Sitrin for a unique visit which will offer campers the opportunity to brush and pet “Bucky” and “Toot.” The miniature horses have been trained for therapeutic purposes, and are familiar with the high levels of attention and activity.
This is the third year in a row the owners of Triple Creek Farm have brought “Bucky” and “Toot” to visit a Sitrin Program. Camp Sitrin is located on Graffenburg Road in Frankfort.
