Wine-Tasting Event Benefits Local Arthritis Programs

New Hartford - Tickets for Jazzmatazz, the wine tasting event of the year, are now on sale! Brought to you by Sitrin Health Care Center and Arthritis Specialists, the proceeds support local programs for individuals with arthritis and arthritis-related conditions.

This year’s event will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at Hart’s Hill Inn, Whitesboro.This annual fundraiser includes an evening of world-renowned wines, gourmet food stations, live jazz music, and a unique silent auction. Tickets are $50 each.

Last year’s Jazzmatazz raised more than $26,000, and every cent stayed in the local area. The funds have been used to implement a variety of arthritis programs including:

  • A series of free educational forums about arthritis and arthritis-related conditions that are open to the community;
  • Summer camp scholarships at Camp Sitrin for local children with arthritis;
  • Support for local fibromyalgia research; and
  • Free 8-week arthritis aquatic therapy classes at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center.
