New Hartford- Sitrin Health Care Center provides a Sharps Disposal Program, accepting needles, syringes, and lancets from private residences. Sharps may be presented at the red garage, just beyond the Health Care Center on the third Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., and 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Sharps must be in a shatter-proof, leak-proof container, and clearly labeled “biohazard.”
