STARS to Participate in U.S. Open International Wheelchair Curling Bonspiel

FIRST INTERNATIONAL EVENT HELD IN UNITED STATES!

NEW HARTFORD – The U.S. Open International Wheelchair Curling Bonspiel will be held December 7-9 at the Utica Curling Club, located at 8300 Clark Mills Road, Whitesboro. This is the first international wheelchair curling event ever to be held in the United States!

Eight teams from Norway, Scotland, Great Britain, Canada, and the United States will be competing, including five members of the U.S. national team who are STARS athletes and Utica Curling Club members (James Pierce, James Joseph, Augusto Perez, Bob Prenoveau, and Tammy Delano).

Games will take place on Friday, December 7, at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday games are set for 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m, and Sunday games will take place at 10 a.m.
