Sitrin Achieves Three-Year CARF Accreditation

NEW HARTFORD –The Sitrin Health Care Center’s post-acute rehabilitation program has been approved for a three-year accreditation by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, following a two-day September inspection and review. Sitrin is the only long-term care facility in the region to have achieved this distinction.

This is Sitrin’s fourth consecutive accreditation. CARF is an international organization that oversees processes and outcomes of rehabilitation facilities, and it awards accreditation based upon commitment, foresight, financial diligence, staff performance, and most importantly, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
