Local Youth Enjoy Annual Fishing Derby!
On Sunday, July 20, Sitrin and the Central New York Fishing Educators co-sponsored a Youth Fishing Derby at Camp Sitrin. The derby is dedicated to the memory of Dr. John F. Millett who was the Chairman of Kiwanis “Take a Kid Fishing Day,” at Graffenberg Reservoir from 1984-1996.
Despite the rain showers, 56 young anglers and their parents showed up to enjoy this free family event. The fishing conditions were excellent, and the children caught and released more than 300 fish!
Congratulations to all of the winners! |
