Located on Graffenburg Road in the Town of Frankfort, less than two miles from Sitrin's campus, is one of the most beautiful natural properties in Oneida and Herkimer Counties. Formerly known as Camp Pioneer, Camp Sitrin is a 142-acre retreat that features:

This idyllic setting so close to Sitrin offers residents, patients, and children from the Child Care Center the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities in the great outdoors. Sitrin also partners with the community to offer this resource for the benefit of area schools, youth groups, senior day centers, and other organizations.
Work is now underway to make Camp Sitrin one of just seven camps in New York State – and the only one in the greater Mohawk Valley region – to offer a variety of outdoor programs for people with disabilities.

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, Inc., has awarded Sitrin $80,000 to aid in renovations to the property. This grant from was made possible by generous donors to the Community Foundation since 1952.
