Summer DAY camp
Friendship and fun.
Sitrin's Summer Day Camp is a wonderful opportunity for children ages 6 – 14 to learn about nature, be creative, make friends, and have a great time.
This exciting 9-week program combines the best of indoor and outdoor activities. The program is based at the Jewish Community Center, a safe, well-appointed facility that features:
- A fully equipped gymnasium
- Auditorium with stage
- Fenced in sports and recreation areas
Campers will visit Camp Sitrin, our 142-acre retreat on Graffenburg Road in Frankfort that features:
- Nature trails
- Playing fields
- Pavilions for picnics
- A beautiful 10-acre lake
Activities.
Summer Camp is both fun and educational, with a variety of activities that include:
- Arts and crafts
- Sports
- Fishing
- Music
- Hiking

Theme Weeks.
- Survivor Week – Learn important survival skills.
- Ocean Week – Find out about life under the sea.
- A Daring Week of Adventure – Dare to try something new! A week of enjoyable games and activities.
- Music Week – Participate in a variety of musical activities.
- Nature Week – Discover and explore the great outdoors.
- Circus Week – Learn new skills and help create a three-ring circus.
- Science Seek – Have a fun-filled week creating science experiments.
- Mythical Magical Week – Explore the world of fantasy and make-believe.
- Camp Spirit Week – Round out your summer camp experience with games, shows, and memories to last a lifetime!
Schedule and Times.
Sitrin Summer Day Camp will run from June 25 to August 31, with convenient camp hours:
- 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. – Before care
- 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Camp program hours
- 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. – After care
Cost.
Weekly sessions: $150.00 per week (Minimum: one week)
Full nine week session: $1,125.00 ($125 per week)
Costs include before and after care.
