Medical Rehabilitation
A better way to get better.
Sitrin offers a complete selection of medical rehabilitation services, supported by the area's most advanced facilities and rehabilitative technologies. We are the only long-term care facility in the region to achieve four consecutive accreditations by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the highest level of accreditation attainable, awarded to Sitrin's medical rehabilitation program for fulfilling CARF's stringent quality standards.
Sitrin offers both:
- Inpatient Post-Acute Rehabilitation – essential care services that provide a vital link between hospital and home for people recovering from illnesses, injuries, or elective surgery
- Outpatient Rehabilitation – Sitrin established the area's first Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF) in 1997 and has since helped thousands of people achieve there recovery goals with a remarkable selection of outpatient rehabilitative care services
Expanding facilities.
Sitrin is expanding its state-of-the-art medical rehabilitation facility to include 46 new private rooms (with private bathrooms) for post-acute medical rehabilitation patients, including those with severe physical impairments, neuromuscular conditions, and health problems due to obesity. The expansion involves renovation and conversion of two existing wings of the Sitrin long-term care facility, and is projected for completion in winter of 2008.
