Sitrin to Lead Paralympic Military Curling Camp For Veterans

New Hartford- Sitrin will host its first-ever Paralympic Military Curling Camp on Sunday, December 12 and Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Utica Curling Club, Clark Mills Road, Whitesboro. Eight wounded warriors from Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin will participate in this unique sporting opportunity, having served our country in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

The check presentation took place at Sitrin’s new Cedarbrook Assisted Living and Enriched Housing facility. CNY Adaptive Recreation and Sports Fund Gets a Boost From Charity Gold Tourney

Utica, NY - Proceeds from the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Broker Charity Golf Event, held on June 17, 2010, raised more than $20,000. This annual event benefits nonprofit organizations from across upstate New York. All proceeds from the tournament are generously donated by insurance brokers and consulting firms. Locally, the Central New York Adaptive Recreation and Sports Fund was one of the four selected charities.
