Youth Fishing Derby Results

NEW HARTFORD - Brady Bowen, age 11, of Sauquoit, was the Grand Prize Winner with an 18 1/2", 2 lb. 7 oz. Smallmouth Bass. The four-hour competition had 86 anglers age 15 and under. The youth fishing derby was dedicated to the memory of Dr. John F. Millett, who was Chairman of the Kiwanis “Take a Kid Fishing Day” at Graffenburg Reservoir from 1984-1996. All fish that were caught were release, and 44 anglers entered 60 fish in the contest. Many smaller fish were also caught and released, but not entered.
Poplular Youth Fishing Derby To Take Place at Camp Sitrin

NEW HARTFORD - The annual Central New York (CNY) Youth Fishing Educators Youth Fishing Derby will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 10 am until 2 pm, at Camp Sitrin on Graffenburg Road in Frankfort. The event, co-sponsored by the Sitrin Health Care Center, is free for all children 15 years of age and younger. Children are required to be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
Sitrin Hosts Reception to Honor Wheelchair Racers

NEW HARTFORD - Sitrin, the major sponsor of the Boilermaker wheelchair event, will host the annual Boilermaker Wheelchair Reception on Thursday, July 7 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center.
Sitrin Offers Free Racing Clinic

NEW HARTFORD - The Sitrin Health Care Center will host a free wheelchair racing clinic on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon at Mohawk Valley Community College. The clinic will feature Paralympian and World Record Holder Joshua George of Fairfax, VA.
