Sitrin Launches First Annual Stars & Stripes Run/Walk

The Sitrin Health Care Center is proud to announce its first annual Stars and Stripes Run/Walk to support our nation’s heroes on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the SUNY IT Campus, Marcy. This event is sponsored by Adirondack Bank, and features a 5K run, 5K wheelchair race, and two-mile walk.

Paddle With The Sitrin STARS!

Sitrin is welcoming new participants for its paddling program! The Sitrin STARS (Success Through Adaptive Recreation and Sports) adaptive paddling program offers several outings for individuals with physical disabilities. Family members and caregivers are also invited to participate.

Over 65 children participated in the Youth Fishing Derby at Camp Sitrin on Sunday. Co-sponsored by the Central New York Youth Fishing Educators and the Sitrin Health Care Center, the derby welcomed children ages 15 and under to compete for free.

Georgian Court Estates is opening its doors to the community on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. Stop by for a tour and more information about worry-free, affordable living.

The Central New York Youth Fishing Educators Youth Fishing Derby will be held Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 10 am until 2 pm, at Camp Sitrin on Graffenburg Road in Frankfort. The event, co-sponsored by the Sitrin Health Care Center, is free for all children 15 years of age and younger. Children are required to be accompanied by a parent or other adult.

Sitrin STARS athlete Devon Henry of Utica completed the Boilermaker 15K Wheelchair Challenge with an impressive time of 1:42:36.

Sitrin will provide free physical therapy screenings on Tuesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 12 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center, located on Tilden Avenue in New Hartford.
