Tickets for Jazzmatazz, the wine tasting event of the year, are now on sale! Sponsored by the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center and Arthritis Specialists, the proceeds support local programs for individuals with arthritis and arthritis related conditions.

This year’s event will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Hart’s Hill Inn, Whitesboro. This annual fundraiser includes an evening of world-renowned wines, gourmet food stations, live jazz music, and a unique silent auction. Entertainment will be provided by Jazz Garden with special guest Lynne Mishalanie. Tickets are $50 each.

Last year’s Jazzmatazz raised more than $24,000, and every cent stayed in the local area. The funds have been used to implement a variety of new arthritis programs including:

A series of free educational forums about arthritis and arthritis related conditions that are open to the community;

Summer camp scholarships at Camp Sitrin for local children with arthritis;

Support for local fibromyalgia research; and

A free 8-week arthritis aquatic therapy class at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center.
