Sitrin Health Care Center provides a Sharps Disposal Program, accepting needles, syringes, and lancets from private residences.

Sharps may be dropped off at the maintenance garage of the Sitrin Health Care Center, located on Tilden Avenue in New Hartford, on the third Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., and 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Sharps must be in a shatter-proof, leak-proof container, and clearly labeled “biohazard.”
