Sitrin's Summer Day Camp Now Accepting Registrations
10 April 2009
Sitrin’s Summer Day Camp is now accepting registrations! Camp Sitrin will run June 29 through August 21. Camp hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and before and after care will be available. The cost per child is $160 per week. If you register before June 1, you can save $10 a week per child. Additionally, if you have more than one child attending, you will receive a $10 sibling discount. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place.
The camp is headquartered at the Jewish Community Center, located at 2310 Oneida Street in Utica. This secure building has a gymnasium, an auditorium with a stage and a fenced-in area for sports and outdoor recreation. There will also be two weekly trips to Camp Sitrin, located on Graffenburg Road in Frankfort, and an additional weekly field trip! Children ages 6 through 14 are welcome and will be arranged into age groups.
This year’s camp will feature new theme weeks and more activities. The new themes have been suggested by last year’s campers. The new themes are Arts and Crafts Week, Farm Week, Pirate Week, Around the World Week, and Mystery Week. Other themes include Science Week, Mythical Magic Week, and Camp Spirit Week.
