Sitrin Offers New Kid Fit Aquatic Class!
The Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center is now offering a new fun-filled aquatic exercise class just for children! Kid Fit is a one-hour aquatic circuit training class, with an emphasis on cardiovascular fitness just for people ages eight to 18.

Cedarbrook, Sitrin’s new assisted living community, will again open its doors to the community on Sunday, May 31 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. Those from the community, who plan to attend the open house, must first RSVP to the Cedarbrook office at (315) 624-9241. Tours of the new facility will be provided, and refreshments prepared by Cedarbrook’s Executive Chef will be served.

Marc DePerno, director of the Sitrin STARS adaptive sports program, and members of the Sitrin STARS curling team will have the opportunity to promote wheelchair curling in other areas of the United States thanks to the approval of a $15,200 Quality of Life-Actively Achieving Grant through the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. DePerno serves as USA Wheelchair Curling Director of Outreach and Development and applied for the grant on behalf of the US Curling Association.

Sitrin is opening its doors to the community for free hearing and speech screenings on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. Sitrin’s audiologist and speech-language pathologists will be offering appointments to individuals of all ages.
It’s almost time for tip-off! The 7th Annual Sitrin Celebrity Classic Wheelchair Basketball Game will feature Kristof Ongenaet and Assistant Coach Mike Hopkins of the Syracuse University Men’s Basketball Team! The game will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the New Hartford Senior High School gymnasium, and pits local celebrities against athletes from the Sitrin STARS (Success Through Adaptive Recreation and Sports) program.
Sitrin's Summer Day Camp Now Accepting Registrations

Sitrin’s Summer Day Camp is now accepting registrations! Camp Sitrin will run June 29 through August 21. Camp hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and before and after care will be available. The cost per child is $160 per week. If you register before June 1, you can save $10 a week per child. Additionally, if you have more than one child attending, you will receive a $10 sibling discount. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place.
Jazzmatazz Raises $26,000 For Local Arthritis Programs

Proceeds from Jazzmatazz, the wine-tasting event of the year, topped last year’s total! More than $26,000 was raised to benefit local programs for individuals with arthritis and arthritis related conditions. The event, held on Friday, March 27, at Hart’s Hill Inn, Whitesboro, included world-renowned wines, gourmet food stations, gift baskets, a unique auction, and more.
