For more than 35 years, Sitrin's Adult Day Health Care program has been a popular spot for adults in the Mohawk Valley. Our innovative program offers the best of both worlds, providing assistance to those who need it but who do not require skilled nursing care.

Located within the Sitrin Health Care Center on Tilden Avenue in New Hartford, Adult Day Health Care provides flexible, individualized services during the day, making it possible for individuals to continue living at home while receiving the personal care, nutrition, and therapies they need at Sitrin.
Just as importantly, the program gives older adults an opportunity to make friends, take part in activities, and enjoy life in a safe and supportive environment – one that brings a greater sense of well-being to participants… and their family members as well.

Our Adult Day Health Care program offers a comprehensive array of services that enable adults to live as full a life as possible. It is designed to meet the medical and social needs of adults, offering weekday, weekend and holiday scheduling options.

A history of caring.
Charles T. Sitrin Network of Homes & Services, Inc., was one of the first long-term care facilities in New York State to offer an Adult Day Health Care program. Beginning in 1974, the program has grown to now assist 80 adults and their families.
Flexible scheduling options.
The program is available every day, including weekends and holidays. Participants may attend from one to seven days a week.
Eligibility.
Adult Day Health Care participants must:
- obtain their physician's approval prior to registering
- maintain attendance at a minimum of one day per week
- remain under the care of their primary care physician
Payment
Sitrin's Adult Day Health Care program accepts Medicaid, Veteran's Benefits, Long-term Care Insurance, and private pay.
