Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball
Start the game clock because we’re hitting the court for Sitrin's 16th Annual Celebrity Classic Wheelchair Basketball Game!
Grab a seat courtside, where you’ll see local celebrities go chair-to-chair with Sitrin’s STARS (Success Through Adaptive Recreation and Sports) athletes.
This year's celebrity roster includes four-time Olympian, Erin Hamlin. Hamlin is a local fan favorite, hailing from Remsen, NY. She earned recognition for being the first female American luger to medal at any Winter Olympics, after taking home the bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi games.
Also headlining the celebrity squad are Syracuse University basketball alumni, Lawrence Moten and Eric Devendorf. Moten set impressive records at S.U., including being the only player in the school's history to score 500 or more points in four seasons, before being selected in the 1995 NBA draft. Devendorf was named Big East All-Rookie in his freshman year. After seven years playing basketball throughout the world, he is back as the Assistant Strength Coach for S.U. Men's Basketball.
In addition to playing, the trio will also be signing free fan autographs.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for five & under. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
