Cedarbrook Village Assisted Living and Enriched Housing Residence is embarking on an expansion to create a 40-bed Memory Care facility that will provide specialized care for older adults diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other recognized forms of dementia. The $17 million state-of-the-art facility will incorporate a strategic environmental design, enriched with cutting-edge technology, programs, and safety monitoring systems, all while being supported by staff specially trained in dementia care.
With only four Memory Care facilities currently located in Oneida and Herkimer Counties, Cedarbrook Village is positioning itself to properly support this underserved population and meet the growing needs of the aging population throughout Central New York. Groundbreaking is planned for April 2027 with completion by June 2028.
